definitely! and all around the world too, I never would’ve gotten into the music I have without tracing the influences of the music I like back through time and all across the world.

also agree that the true underground heads are looking for something other than the modern club culture that’s on offer these days. it’s something I’ve been thinking for a while and perhaps something I should make more of an effort to address myself before waiting for others to do for me.

I agree with what Platinumray says about London. I too lived there, lots of great times n all that but it does have it is parochial.

Right on. I lived in London for a few years and although I had many really good nights out, generally the press over there was very parochial when it came to music, as if to say that things weren’t happening until somebody started the ‘scene’ in London.
