That Mobach release is stellar. I really SD but usually it's just a little TOO much, ya know. The Specter release is fantastic as well. Great picks.

Nice picks. Hadn't heard of that Captain Rapp before but will have to track down a copy. Loving the Balihu sampler although not actually a big fan of 'Dancing on the Moon'. That Beegees sample has too many cheesy affiliations for me but the rest of the 12'' is sick.
How did you get a copy of that Mobach 12'' stateside? Would love to get that.

Yeah, some nice picks. I played that Tetrode 12 out last night - the 1st cut on the image side. Excellent deepness.

Nice picks! The one I like off that Tetrode Session EP is "Large Crowd."

I missed a chance to see Steven Tang play a couple of weeks ago. I've bought records off him on Discogs, but I have yet to explore his label.

You mentioned some of my favorite records of the last few months. I really dig that Tetrode Sessions record.

You should keep an eye out for some of Steven Tang's new shit. He dropped a dope acid track up on soundcloud page a few weeks back. It is definitely worth checking out. Word on the street is that is is going to drop on Emphasis sometime in the future. I am curious to hear what the rest of the record will sound like. I dug that ESOM record they dropped last spring.

I like that Captain Rapp record. I was really surprised that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were behind that record. It is weird to think that they went from shit like this to really digital sounding Janet Jackson records in the space of a few years.

I am still trying to find a good copy of the original version of Set It Off. I have a beater copy with the original dub which is just bizarre sounding. It is a shame that they remixed it on later versions. It is weird, three separate pressings of that record came through the shop this summer and I even found a cover version of that track, but I still can't find a nice copy.

Also, have you checked out that Walter Jones that just got repressed on Supersoul? It isn't as huge as his DFA 12" but it is really solid deep house.
