Push, Move, Click this Thursday in Dublin

A heads up for Dublin peeps for some gig action this Thursday. Push, Move, Click are a Dublin collective who perform shows on analog modular synths, homemade noise boxes and drum machines and various other pieces of kit. I’ve yet to catch any of their shows but they certainly sound intriguing as they perform lots of improvised one off sets. Included in the group are members of both  DeFeKT and 16 Hertz, and for this show they will be performing as a group and on their own in what I believe will be one continuous flow with members breaking off at different times.

This is taking place on Thursday evening in the Project Arts Theatre in Temple Bar in the city centre, in the main room and there will be full visual accompaniment to go along with the show. I’m told that there is a pretty damn impressive rig in the room so hopefully this should make for an entertaining night of live electronics. It’s an early doors gig, with things kicking off around the 8 o’clock mark and I think it runs till around 11ish. So for those working the next morning it ain’t a late night out either! For those who do wanna stay a little later I’ll be spinning some records in the theatre’s bar afterwards till they ask me to stop – probably around 12.30 – so it still isn’t even that late a night if you fancy a little bit more music and a few more drinks…
