No, I’m not advertising that peeps come around to my gaff and eat toasted cheese sandwhiches (my culinary skills don’t stretch much further), but myself and Gmos will be manning the controls at The Kitchen Nightclub in Temple Bar this Saturday, the 23rd. The Kitchen is a pretty famous Dublin nightclub from days of yore that recently re-opened and while I’ve not been in to see what it’s like compared with then (I know the infamous moat that surrounded the dancefloor is gone) we’ll be doing our very best to serve up the finest house and disco – and everything that those 2 simple words constitute – we can dig out from our records shelves. It’s the first time in a couple of years that we’ve played out together, so we’re pretty excited about the prospect. Things kick off at 11 and go on till they kick us off.
This Saturday – ISM @ The Kitchen

go get em’ tigers! hahahaha 😉
i forsee manys the sprained discofinger come sunday morning.
how did it go? and what’s the verdict on the new kitchen?
i enjoyed myself but it’s not the ktichen of yore. Def going for yer typical Temple Bar crowd and the place is too bright and sparkly. Nice rig in there and a nice booth for playing in, tho even tho the place is brand new we still had to go and get Gmos’ decks as both were broken in there.
yeah, it was fun, but I think we knew most of the people on the dancefloor, if it wasn’t for them it would’ve been pretty grim I’d say. don’t see a great future in the place unfortunately
also, they don’t seem to be doing any promoting at all, haven’t seen any posters or flyers about or anything of that sort. they don’t seem to have any real idea of what they want to do tbh
