Guest Mix: Gavin Guthrie aka TX Connect

txconnect

Gavin Guthrie, better known as TX Connect appeared on my radar with a split 12″ on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams back in ’13 and since then he has gone on to release more of his roughhewn house music via the Scottish imprint alongside an album on Creme Organization amongst other releases. While his releases so far have taken in electro, acid and EBM influences for this mix he showcases a love of disco, synth pop/wave and some other 80s-tinged delectables. Just the sort of eclectic stylings we love here at ISM. So before the evenings close in on us again catch the last of summer’s dying days…
