This Friday, in SF

For those of you in the San Francisco bay area that would like to hear some of the music we write about on this blog, I’ll be playing this Friday, May 1st, at Swig (561 Geary St. @ Taylor), alongside Dave Siska of Sonic Sunset fame.  Expect to hear Italo disco, Brit-tech (such as B12, Likemind and the like), any and all genres from Detroit and Chicago, and maybe even a French movie soundtrack or an Indian raga or two. The party’s also listed on Facebook.

dope tunes should be expected. Dave’s a top notch selector as anyone who’s listened to Sonic Sunset can attest. what I wouldn’t give to hear a Likemind track dropped a loud system. have fun Detroitio.

hah! dang it. I missed my flight.

    how’d it go down?

Not bad man, a few couples were even making out during my set, for what it’s worth. Disco went down well with the crowd, as did Bronski Beat.
