This one is not a new mix, but one that I have been enjoying so much for two years that I felt it needed to be out there again. Even though they hail from New York City and not Chicago, Drrtyhaze nail the 80’s classic jacking vibe perfectly. From the more obvious classics to some hard to find joints, this is essential riding through the city at night in your car type shit.
Be sure to check out Drrtyhaze’s website for more mixes and info on their new releases.

that’s one hell of a tracklist!
and it looks a lot better now that i fixed the formatting! i dont know what the problem was there, very odd. i made this post up weeks ago so i could just hit “post” while on vacation and it looked fine then! weird. excellent mix this is, you should definitely check it out.
tom this mix is the shit, love the old jack tracks. shit just dont sound like this anymore
yeah, i love this shit. as much as i love old detroit tracks, i think i might love chicago shit just a little bit more. so raw and gritty and nasty. that ESP record is one of my all time favorite jams, i totally trainspotted it out of this mix and paid way too much for a sealed mint copy. what a track!
thanks for this mix, it rocks so hard!
reminds me to keep looking for a copy of mr.lee’s “house this house” when roaming in record shops
yeah, that ESP is dope, I spent a little too much on it too, don’t regret it though 😉
totally ill boy. I’m diggin.
