Hey, just a heads up for the Irish readers out there, Fatty Fatty and Downtownsounds presents DJ Rahaan from Chicago on Friday June 11th at a newish venue in Dublin, Space 54. Myself, Nic Keane and the Don will be providing the support warming things up for one of the world’s best disco/house djs. Doors open at 10.30 and there will be free cocktails for the first 75 people who turn up, but there’s no bar so bring your own booze.
This will be a launch party for another Fatty Fatty / Downtownsounds event, A Day on the Farm, which will be taking place at a secret location in deepest, greenest Kildare on July 10th. Information on location, travel, camping, provisions and lineup will be disclosed on the night.

Nice booking, missed him last time, think he was in Kennedy’s wasn’t he?
I’ll deffo be there…casually early to get my free cocktail without being too obvious about it 🙂
Yeah, he was down in Kennedys. Was good but didn’t quite live up to the (lofty) expectations, he sorta lost the crowd for the last bit, but it was still a lot of fun.
Will be down for sure. Mine’s a Long Island Ice tea, ta!
good luck with this.
nice to see unlicenced spaces being used in dublin.

just a heads up, I was playing in S54 a few weeks ago and the sound system was bobbins, hopefully they’ll have fixed it for this
yeah, can’t wait guys, hope to see some of you there, come up and say hello!
Sounds great gmos. I will defo call in.
That clip you loaded up is really funny, especially the crowd participation and chanting at the end.
Rahaan definitely creates a create atmosphere
I didn’t think the sound was bad that night. OK, it was low – which I presumed was due to the apartments above and in general where it was situated – you could clearly the hear music around the side of the building outside, much more so than you would from a normal club – but it was crisp and clear. Great party too, nice one!
cheers Kenny, it was nice to see you there
they tried to charge us for damaging their system, but we said no and haven’t heard from them since. all a bit odd.
It’s not the first time I’ve heard of them being a bit odd…
Hes playing 12 in The Bernard Shaw this Sunday. Tis free in. All the details here:
