Walt J is an unsung hero in my book, love his tracks on Dow and the bits he did with Dave Peoples on igilante Records
Vigilante even!
Nice mix, he is a talented fella all in
Great!

2 Walt J’s have been re-issued by Fit so far, with a 3rd coming very soon (if not already)

Have all the original DOW records – really great to see Walt J finally getting some props – always felt he was heavily slept on. Also the first DOW 12″ from Claude Young as Project 625 is hands down one of the best Detroit records ever for the track “Come Closer” alone – an anthem for us in SF back when I was working with Reflective Records. PROPS for this mix.
Still don’t have that first Project 625 record actually. Thanks for the props!
thanks man
