Sex, Lies, and MixxxTAPES

Videodrome

The cats over at the TAPE blog asked me to do a guest mix a little while back showcasing US house and techno artists. It took a couple tries to get it right, but I like the way it turned out. Check out the post with my commentary here, where you can also find the download link. Big ups to TAPE and especially Richard Carnage, good looking out. That’s 3 mixes from the ISM crew in just 8 days of 2008! Can we possibly keep this up?!?!?!?! (the answer is NO 😉 )

Great mix of “old school – not old school” sounds, new Omar S track sounds great here, also Mike Huckaby, Kelley Polar a Kenny Dixon tracks are beautiful. Chow Daddy – Never Fade is spinning now on my turntable – best release on moxie label to this date, I think
