The cats over at the TAPE blog asked me to do a guest mix a little while back showcasing US house and techno artists. It took a couple tries to get it right, but I like the way it turned out. Check out the post with my commentary here, where you can also find the download link. Big ups to TAPE and especially Richard Carnage, good looking out. That’s 3 mixes from the ISM crew in just 8 days of 2008! Can we possibly keep this up?!?!?!?! (the answer is NO 😉 )

loads of new stuff to listen to!! i’m swamped. the ipod is getting a workout.
when the hell we gonna get jwan to lay something down on 1’s and 0’s.
Great mix of “old school – not old school” sounds, new Omar S track sounds great here, also Mike Huckaby, Kelley Polar a Kenny Dixon tracks are beautiful. Chow Daddy – Never Fade is spinning now on my turntable – best release on moxie label to this date, I think
this is a lurvley mix. i must say, hats off to ye Americans for the proper house sound.

I listened to this mix before checking the tracklist and when the Omar-S track came on, I thought damn! why don’t people make techno as good as this any more? well obviously they do!
