Guest Mix: Scott Ferguson #5

HOUSE Music

I’m sure this is one all the fans of Scott Ferguson have been waiting for, a mix of the deep house he is most widely known for. There’s one of his solo jams on here, as well as two of his remixes with Koomba Project homeboy Reggie Dokes. Unbeknownst to Scott, he also included two of the very few Pittsburgh deep house tracks out there: Soy Sos is a long-time music head from Pittsburgh who is also a member of the group 3 Generations Walking. Mr. Sos also was part of one of the first ever US jungle releases back in the day along with the legendary 1.8.7.

The second part of this mix is hosted by the man Kuri over at the Energy Flash blog, where you can also check out a recording of Orlando Voorn’s recent live set that he didn’t get to perform in Seattle. It’s definitely a nice up and coming blog for the soulful techno and house fans.
