Well, finally I got my arse in gear and did a new mix. I have a bunch of different piles of records strewn about my room from abandoned ideas for mixes from the last few months. But one thing I’ve wanted to try and do is a mix of exclusively new(ish) house and techno which I found much more difficult than expected. I guess I’m just so used to mixing things up and throwing whatever I like into the mix these days, but also my purchasing habits probably favour buying older music and non-house or techno by quite a margin at the moment. In the end I did stretch my remit to the past few years for a few tracks. Anyway, here’s the mix, some deep and dubby, a bit of minimal and some more melodic touches in between;
