Guest Mix: Scott Ferguson #7 – Unreleased FPR Tracks

Man. Just when I thought Scott couldn’t possibly touch the collection of mixes he had already done for us, he comes through with this. Celebrating the repressing of the early Ferrispark Records catalog, he went through some of his old joints and broke us off with a mix of mostly unreleased deep house bangers. These were all produced in his Detroit studio (pictured above), and according to Scott most are almost 10 years old.

Download the mix here.

Here’s the tracklist:

01. One Love – Scott Fergsuon – Unreleased
02. Train From Castellemonte – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased
03. Theme Music Part 1. – Scott Ferguson – Ferrispark Records
04. Don’tchu – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased
05. I Do It… – Scott Ferguson – Ferrispark Records
06. Strollin’ – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased
07. 2nite – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased
08. Joe W – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased
09. I’ll Tell Anybody – Scott Ferguson – Unreleased

It’s good to see more and more interest in that older Detroit house music. Most of the key producers are still banging out awesome new shit, but the vast majority of their early catalogs are unknown to the masses. When you realise that the tracks on this mix are the ones Scott didn’t even get around to putting out yet they’re still fucking badass, you understand the kind of shit that was going down.

For those of you who slept FPR, get caught up here.

SOLID!

As you’re expert in this field please let me know if you can recognize any of them please.

They are composed in 80s, that’s why they are still unrecognized .

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
