Mix: Tw!tch Podcast

twitch

Tw!tch is a party in Belfast that is just about to hit its tenth anniversary over the next couple of months with 2 parties taking place over September and October. The latter is a monster bash featuring 10 internationals such as Antal, Joy O, Kowton and Soundstream whilst the former sees the guys throwing an Irish-only get together on the 10th of the month (Saturday week), which they’ve very kindly invited me up to play alongside the likes of Chris Hanna, Sage, Beat bbq crew and a few others. I ran an Apartment label party up there last year with them and its reputation for having a determinedly up for it crowd is fully earned.

They run a sporadic mix series (ISM’s favourite kind) which this mix is part of. It’s heavy on the Detroit grooves for a good stretch, featuring the brand new Scott Grooves 12″ alongside some older cuts from Theo Parrish, Kyle Hall and Model 500, whilst veering off in a few other directions too. It may also be time for me to retire Boots & Tax’s Acidio which has to be my post played track of the last 2 years. Possibly, we shall see. T/L below the mix. Enjooooyyyyy xx

Top Jams of 2016 According to Pipecock

2016 has been an interesting one. And by interesting, I mean shitty. And that’s just on the music tip, not even touching on all the rest of the nonsense. I needed long breaks from music, social media, and especially music journalism this year. The music journalism break will likely be permanent, judging by the little…
