TR-One/Broken Audio Movement Interview

Our favourite young, double-monikered scallywags from the wilds of the Irish  countryside (eh, Carlow to be precise) have a great interview up on the  Bodytonic website you can read here. There is also a nice freebie track to download on the page too.

  1. Mr. Twon says:

    very nice track.Wow.

  2. Rowan says:

Great night sat night, cant get over the soundsystem in the twisted pepper,

  3. pipecock says:

Funktion 1 right? their soundsystems are ridiculous, i’ve seen two, one at the pyramid stage at DEMF for Rhythm & Sound a few years ago and one at Smartbar in Chicago, each was impressive as hell. i wonder how much an installed system by them costs? it’s gotta be off the hook, but worth every penny.

  4. clom says:

does anyone know what that guy on about in the backround on the mystery train ep?
it sounds like he’s talking about football or something but any time i listen to it i can’t quite make it out.

I’m still listening to that night glow mix that Dean did for here a few months ago.

  5. gmos says:

yeah, he’s talking about travelling to a Liverpool game in the old (?) European Cup. thick scally accent isn’t easy to decipher!

sorry I couldn’t make it down for the lads on saturday, had other commitments, would’ve liked to check them in the Twisted Pepper Basement, it’s a great spot now

  6. Kenny says:

It’s worth every penny if it’s installed properly. If not, it’s just a good rig, no better than some others.

  7. gmos says:

aye, they’ve done some proper sound engineering in that basement that really shows off the quality system

  8. Dean says:

Apparently the room has been treated (not quite sure exactly what that entails) to suit the system. Also a very nice touch was to be asked which mixer we would like which gave us the chance to finally use a mixer other than those goddamn pioneers with their horrific eqs. The mixer was actually designed to be used with the Funktion 1 which added evem more ooomph. We were just talking about how enjoyable it is to play somewhere that is just about perfect in every way, proper sound, proper booth, small dark hardly lit room and a crowd raring to go. Jesus christ I nearly had an aneurysm when Eddie dropped that Jamal Moss joint..
The set was recorded too so i’m sure it will appear somewhere soon. Thanks to everyone who came down and got down..
Gav – I’m sure we’ll catch up sometime soon mate

  9. gmos says:

shit! only just listened to that track today, very nice lads, very nice indeed!

  10. Dean says:

cheers gav it shall be hitting wax soon(ish!)

  11. qtel says:

These guys don’t look very healthy do they?

  12. Newhouse says:

wow, that track is some business right there
