Today my wife and I attended the wedding of a friend of hers who lives in Akron, Ohio. I’ve had the displeasure of deejaying there in the past and let’s just say that it is not exactly a bastion of great dance music (although this was really my first time there in the daylight and I rather like the look and feel of Akron!). On the drive from the service to the reception, we passed a little record shop called Square Records and since the bridal party pictures and whatnot usually take forever, I insisted that we stop in real quick to see what they had to kill a little time. I believe my exact quote was “You never know, Akron could have the crazy disco collection that nobody knows about.” While it was not quite that good, I was quite pleased to pull a mint copy of one of my long time wants:

For only $2! That made my day!

This is a nice little quirky tune which is quite rare in first issue promo format like this one.
A good find m8.

hehe, hardly surprising though is it?
never heard this record before so not much to say, but it’s always nice to find something like that when/where you’re not expecting it.
