Today you get a two-for-one on guest mixes, one each from Scott Ferguson and Keith Kemp of Ferrispark Records.

Keith’s mix is a mix from last year on the now defunct New Detroit Radio netradio station. This mix features a bunch of classic funky Detroit tracks mixed up meta-style. You can check Keith’s personal site out here. The mix can be downloaded here.

Tracklist:

Skinny Puppy-Punk In Park Zoo’s
Kenny Larkin-Catatonic (Third State)-Carl Craig remix
(the dialogue laid over this beat is from Jeff Mills-Preview 12″-Glen21 (Interview) )
Paperclip People-Throw (K. Hand Mix)
Paperclip People-Reach
The Stickmen-Guacabourdes-which, oddly enough contains a 69/Carl Craig sample, which in itself, is a sample..
(again, the dialogue laid over this beat is from Jeff Mills-Preview 12″-Glen21 (Interview) )
Dark Comedy-Plankton
Claude Young-Acid Wash Conflict
Inner City-Ahnonghay-Carl Craig Remix

Scott’s mix is the sixth in our series with him! Thie one serves as a promo for his new regular gig in London and features many tracks from Third Ear Recordings as well as other deep house gems. You can download the mix here.

Tracklist:

Tulum (Koomba Project Remix) – Alton Miller – Third Ear Recordings
Change (Mike Huckaby Remix) – Norm Talley – Third Ear Recordings

Keep an eye out for new vinyl from Scott later this year as well as repressed of the early Ferrispark 12″s. If you’re in London, right now you are missing the second installment of Rehab Music featuring Scott Ferguson playing the Detroit style sets with lots of soul, funk, disco, and slow house music. This is gonna go down the first and third Sunday nights of each month from 6pm-1am. Sounds like a good time to me!
