Does Red D ever sleep? I’m beginning to think he doesn’t. Aside from the ever-awesome We Play House label that he runs (Be very sure to check out the most recent WPH record by FCL which features in my most recent mix here at ISM, but really the label has attained “buy-on-sight” status already in my opinion), Bart has been busy rocking many gigs that I wish I could have attended including one this past weekend in Berlin. One of the things I appreciate most in a deejay is quality selection. I love it when a track that I haven’t heard of or totally overlooked rocks my world and has me running to see what it is. This mix consists of many of those, along with some unreleased WPH business as usual. Toss these ingredients together, mix well, and there you have it! Another ill mix by one of my favorite disc jockeys.

I was at that gig in Berlin last weekend. One of the best sets I’ve ever heard. One of those DJs whose selection you know can have total faith in!

that remix of ‘consonanz’ is great.
well, i immediately ordered that Osborne rmx (the original is actually pretty nice too, though i will be killing the rmx in my sets). the first six tracks in general had me checking the tracklist as each came in. that Steffi track is really really sweet! the second half of the mix is definitely less my style, but it’s all shit i would really like to hear out in a club. i even like the Ben Watt track! at this point, i think i trust Bart fully as a deejay, he plays shit i wouldn’t even normally fuck with and makes it sound good. now THAT is the sign of a dope deejay.
