Pittsburgh Track Authority

My homeboys Adam Ratana and Preslav Lefterov (you may remember my mentioning them here) and I have been working together on a musical project for the past few months that we call Pittsburgh Track Authority. The first joints from this project will be seeing the light of day very soon through Uzuri Recordings, who have just put them online on their Soundcloud page. You can check them out here:

Massive big ups to my man Nice Rec who is also responsible for the funky A1 cut “Duskshaped”, as well as Lerato for being behind what we’ve been up to. I hope you guys dig it, too. We’re gonna stay hard at work banging out more tracks every day!

    congrats pittsburgh crew!

4 tracks of deepness – ‘bloodlands’ is the pick of the bunch for me (tony allen meets basic channel in a nigerian dub lab ?!) … but they’re all good

    as ferguson might say…. SOLID!

  7. gmos says:

great stuff lads, really looking forward to this

  8. Dean says:

Bloodlands has been my joint since I got these a while back. Shit goes deeeep. Dusk shaped is dope as hell too. All over this shit boyos…

  9. Dean says:

Dusk shaped has like an early Metro Area vibe to it for me, it also sounds like something that could have been on the vice city soundtrack!

  10. pipecock says:

  11. scott says:

  12. welcome to our world… (and yeah, SOLID!)

  14. frank says:

you know, i’ve been listening to these for several months now, and i have finally come to the conclusion that 77B is indeed my favorite of the four followed ever so closely by bloodlands.

  15. pipecock says:

I fluctuate on 77B. My favs are Duskshaped and Bloodlands, I like them both equally.

  16. frank says:

I feel about sirens the same way I feel about crash cymbals. Pretty much all the tracks that use them heavily have already been made that should have.

  17. G says:

Brilliant. Some of the best stuff I have heard this year!!! Keep up the good work :o)

  18. Louis says:

Late to the party…”Bloodlands” is bad-ass. Congrats!
